THE STORY

SIMFONI is inspired by the harmony that emerges from diversity.

Like different notes coming together to form one harmonious composition, the SIMFONI motif brings together various forms and rhythms in a balanced composition.

Each piece is crafted by women artisans in Pandan Krajan Village, Mojokerto, becoming part of Ulur Wiji's journey to preserve Indonesian batik craftsmanship while creating opportunities for women in the village.

THE MATERIAL

The SIMFONI Men's Shirt is one of Ulur Wiji's premium pieces, made from 100% cotton.

The fabric has a distinctive natural texture and a soft, relaxed structure that is not overly stiff—making it comfortable and versatile for everyday wear and moments spent with the people closest to you.

THE CRAFT

The SIMFONI motif is created using the traditional Batik Cap (hand-stamped batik) technique, carefully crafted by Ulur Wiji artisans.

The fabric is then hand-dyed using a natural dyeing process derived from plants cultivated in Indonesia. This process gives each piece its own subtle character and reflects the hands-on nature of traditional textile craftsmanship.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• For the first wash, we recommend hand washing the garment separately. It can be machine washed afterward, but hand washing is recommended to help preserve the fabric fibers for longer.
• Use a neutral or near-neutral pH detergent, such as mild dish soap, baby detergent, or natural lerak soap solution.
• Dry in a shaded area and avoid direct sunlight.
