SIMFONY KEBAYA VEST

The SIMFONY Kebaya Vest brings traditional Indonesian batik into a contemporary wardrobe through a clean and versatile silhouette.

Made from a linen-cotton blend and finished with hand-drawn batik and natural dyes, the vest combines the character of traditional craftsmanship with an effortless contemporary look.

Each piece is handcrafted by young women artisans in Pandan Krajan Village, Mojokerto, Indonesia, making every vest a reflection of the hands and processes behind it.

THE MATERIAL

The SIMFONY Kebaya Vest is made from a linen-cotton blend, combining the natural texture of linen with the comfortable feel of cotton.

The fabric provides a relaxed structure while maintaining the distinctive character of natural fibers.

The vest is finished with mother-of-pearl shell buttons, adding a subtle natural detail to the design.

THE CRAFT

The fabric features Batik Tulis (hand-drawn batik) created by Ulur Wiji artisans.

The fabric is naturally dyed using plants cultivated locally in Indonesia. Each stage of the process is carried out by hand and with careful attention to detail.

Because of the handmade process and natural dyeing, every piece develops its own subtle variations in colour and character.

PRODUCT NOTES

This product is made from batik fabric that requires approximately 2–3 business days for sewing and finishing before it is ready to ship.

Minor adjustments to the standard size chart are available at no additional cost. Please contact our team if you require a size adjustment.

Alternative colour requests are available at no additional cost and require approximately 7–10 business days for the dyeing process. Please contact our team for available options.

Size tolerance: ±2 cm.

Ulur Wiji follows a handmade and slow-fashion process. Standard-size orders can generally be processed faster, while darker and more intense colours may require additional time during the natural dyeing process.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• For the first wash, we recommend hand washing the garment separately. It can be machine washed afterward, but hand washing is recommended to help preserve the fabric fibers for longer.
• Use a neutral or near-neutral pH detergent, such as mild dish soap, baby detergent, or natural lerak soap solution.
• Dry in a shaded area and avoid direct sunlight.

As this piece is naturally dyed, each product has its own unique character. Colour similarity is approximately 95% and cannot be guaranteed to be exactly identical to the product shown in the photos.
