THE STORY

METAMORF tells a story of change—of something continuously evolving and transforming without losing the roots that shape it.

Just as batik continues to find new forms, this outer brings together traditional textile craftsmanship and a contemporary silhouette designed for everyday wear.

THE MATERIAL

Made from a Linen-Cotton Blend, the fabric feels cool and breathable with a naturally textured surface and enough structure to hold its shape.

The material creates a balance between comfort and form, making it versatile as a layering piece for different styles.

THE CRAFT

The METAMORF motif combines Batik Cap (Hand-Stamped Batik) and Batik Tulis (Hand-Drawn Batik), followed by a natural dyeing process using plants cultivated in Indonesia.

Each piece is crafted by women artisans in Pandan Krajan Village, Mojokerto, with care and experience in working with Indonesian batik.

More than fashion, the piece is part of a continuing story of textile preservation and village empowerment.

HOW TO WEAR

Layer it over a simple inner top for an urban minimalist look.

Pair it with high-waisted trousers, wide-leg pants, or a skirt to create a balanced silhouette.

Its cropped proportion adds a subtle statement without overwhelming the overall look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• For the first wash, hand wash separately. A washing machine may be used afterwards, but hand washing is recommended to help preserve the fabric fibres.
• Use a neutral or near-neutral pH detergent, such as mild baby soap, gentle dish soap, or natural lerak solution.
• Dry in the shade and avoid direct sunlight.

PLEASE NOTE

We embrace a handmade and slow-fashion process. Standard-size orders can be processed more quickly, while darker colours may require additional time for the dyeing process.

Colour may appear slightly different from the product shown due to photography lighting and individual screen settings.

Because natural dyes are used, each piece develops its own unique colour character. Colour similarity is approximately 95% and cannot be guaranteed to be exactly identical to the product shown.
