The SIMFONI Kebaya Blouse reinterprets the traditional Indonesian kebaya through a relaxed, contemporary silhouette. Designed to feel modern, minimal, and effortless, its slightly loose fit makes it easy to style with relaxed trousers, wrap skirts, full skirts, or even denim.

THE STORY

SIMFONI draws inspiration from the traditional Indonesian Kawung batik motif, thoughtfully arranged into a harmonious composition reminiscent of musical rhythm.

Rather than feeling rigid or formal, the motif flows with a sense of balance and ease—bringing a more relaxed expression to Indonesian batik.

THE MATERIAL

Made from 100% Lyocell, a fabric known for its soft feel and comfortable drape.

Its lightweight character makes it a thoughtful choice for everyday wear, particularly in tropical climates and warmer seasons, while allowing the silhouette to fall naturally on the body.

THE CRAFT

The SIMFONI motif is created using the traditional Batik Tulis (hand-drawn batik) technique and naturally dyed through a carefully controlled process by Ulur Wiji artisans.

Every stage is carried out with close attention to detail, giving each piece its own subtle character.

HOW TO WEAR

Pair it with relaxed trousers for a clean, urban-minimalist look.

For a more traditional expression, style it with a kain lilit (Indonesian wrap skirt) to bring a contemporary perspective to Indonesian dressing.

CARE

• For the first wash, we recommend hand washing the garment separately. It can be machine washed afterward, but hand washing is recommended to help preserve the fabric fibers for longer.
• Use a neutral or near-neutral pH detergent, such as mild dish soap, baby detergent, or natural lerak soap solution.
• Dry in a shaded area and avoid direct sunlight.
